During anxiety, your body releases a lot of chemicals and hormones that have a negative impact on your body. Also, muscle tension caused by anxiety can cause headaches, and all kinds of other body aches and pains that get worse overtime if not treated.
Lots of exercise is a great way to improve your mood and help your body with the tension caused by too much stress, but long term you must learn to deal with the anxiety itself. The most important thing is to deal with your worry and anxiety before it gets out of control.
